Travelers excited for the fall can experience a plethora of seasonal
celebrations and family experiences at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.
As people prepare for Halloween, Disney World highlighted
the fun visitors can experience.
The first stop on the fall journey is Mickey’s Not-So-Scary
Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom Park, which runs on select nights from August
11 to November 1 after normal park hours, from 7 p.m. to midnight.
The special-ticket event features Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck
and Clarabelle Cow dressed as the Sanderson Sisters from Hocus Pocus, specially
themed Halloween treats and trick-or-treat options for children visiting the
park.
On Main Street, U.S.A., the area will transform into a fall
wonderland with autumn colors, giant pumpkins, scarecrows and shops adorned
with fall foliage, running between August 10 and November 1.
For the foodies in the group, guests can take a taste tour
across six continents at the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival,
which runs through November 18. The festivities include the Brew-Wing Lab at
the Odyssey, live musical performances at the America Gardens Theatre and more
than 25 global marketplaces.
At Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, the Tree of Life
Awakenings returns in early November after daylight saving time ends, and guests
visiting The Animation Experience at Conservation Station can learn to draw their
favorite Disney Villains, from October 1-31.
Disney Springs is also getting in on the fall fun with
treats, merchandise and entertainment, including Haunted Mansion Portrait Bars
at The Ganachery, Pumpkin Crème Brulee at Amorette’s Patisserie and
performances by Squad Ghouls every Friday, Saturday and Sunday between
September 29 and October 29.
If working out is high on the priority list when
vacationing, the 2023-24 runDisney race season kicks off on November 3-5 with
the Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend. The popular collection of
races features a 5K, 10K and half marathon, the Disney Two Course Challenge
(10K and half marathon) and Post-Race Party.
