The exciting reopening of the Riu Palace Macao Hotel is right around the corner. The newly refreshed property will open its doors once again and welcome guests on September 9, 2023, and the Punta Cana property has some surprises in store for guests.
The Riu Palace Macao Hotel will offer newly designed rooms and common areas, the new Mixologist at the lobby bar with daily signature drinks, new in-room TV casting, an upgraded Capuchino Bar menu with vegetarian offerings, a sports bar, a new Pepe's food by the pool and new wine menu. The Punta Cana RIU complex will also feature a new spa for all guests.

One of the most exciting additions for guests, however, is sure to be the elegant new Elite Club by RIU concept. This new offering will feature premium room locations, an exclusive lounge at the lobby as well as a private beach area with a bar. Guests who book Elite Club will also receive premium branded drinks at select bars and enjoy an upgraded in-room liquor dispenser. The mini bar is also upgraded and guests receive a complimentary bottle of wine. Guests can enjoy in-room aromatherapy and an exclusive welcome gift.
There are more perks that come with Elite Club stays. These include a dedicated check-in area, a confirmed late checkout, early check-in (based on availability) and a special wristband.
Dining for Elite Club guests is also elevated. Dinner reservation are available for the a-la carte restaurants through the Riu App, and there is an upgraded room service menu with variety of choices from the specialty restaurant. In addition, there is an Elite Club a-la-carte restaurant for dinner that is only available to Elite Club guests and there is a special restaurant for breakfast with a-la-carte options.
