Increase intake of vegetables

Nowadays our food becomes more convenience-based and we tend to move away from fresh wholefoods. Thus, our diets have become deficient in many essential vitamins and minerals. Vegetables are a crucial part of our diet and support cellular health to help us maintain a strong body and mind. On top of that, vegetables are a source of antioxidants, which boost immunity and protect against oxidative stressors. Vegetables also promoting the growth of healthy bacteria, and therefore we should all be eating more of them and take less instant food.

So what you should do now is to eat more “greens”. It is really that simple, try to include at least one vegetable with your meal. There are so many nutritional powerhouse foods, “greens” such as kale, broccoli, chard, rocket, spinach and lettuce. Providing a wealth of vitamins, minerals and phytonutrients, they also contain high levels of chlorophyll. If you’re getting tired of taking green foods, perhaps you should try do a green juice or green smoothie. It is not just nutrient-dense beverages but also delicious!
