RIU brings more than 60 years of experience to the table and has expanded to many of the world's most popular destinations, boasting some 100 properties in as many as 19 different countries. Launched nearly a decade ago, the RIU Specialist Program course will equip travel advisors with all of the tools, resources and confidence to successfully sell RIU properties throughout Mexico, North and Central America and the Caribbean. Students will learn about each of RIU's three brands, including Riu Classic, Riu Palace and Riu Plaza and how each appeals to a specific client base.

In addition to a RIU Specialist Certificate, graduates will receive informative brochures, a press kit and RIU Partner Club points for two free nights at any RIU property after one client booking. What's more, a Certified Travel Associate (CTA) or a Certified Travel Counselor (CTC) who completes the program will earn two Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for The Travel Institute.

The convenient course allows travel advisors to enter their Riu Partner Club username and password to register and begin learning right away. Students can also take a break and come back to the course whenever the time is right.
