Norwegian Cruise Line’s 2023-24 winter season onboard the Norwegian Epic from December 1 through April 9 has been canceled.
According to Travel Weekly, travelers who were previously booked on the ship during these dates were notified by letter. They have yet to make a formal statement or announce where the ship will be instead.
Last week, the Norwegian Spirit’s 2024 Alaska program was canceled; the ship is instead going to be chartered during that period.
Guests who were booked on the 4,228-guest ship will be given a full refund in their original form of payment, along with a 20 percent future cruise credit for a European sailing through April 30, or a 10 percent future cruise credit for any voyage departing before December 31, 2024. The offers are available beginning on June 1 to book.
