Is this a case of democracy in action, or angry airline passengers gone awry?
A woman was removed from a Frontier Airline flight after an apparent vote by her fellow passengers.
The videos were posted on Tik Tok. The flight was from Trenton, New Jersey, to Atlanta.
An incident between two passengers, both female, escalated on the flight. One woman was removed by authorities; the second woman was removed after an apparent hand vote among passengers, with one gentleman leaving the way and saying, “If you want her removed from the flight, raise your hand!”
The video marks what could be the start of a disturbing trend – passengers taking matters into their own hands on an airline flight. Crews already have the authority to remove an unruly passenger. This would set a dangerous precedent.
There has been a rise in physical and verbal altercations on airline flights.
