Walk To Faarumai Waterfalls
These waterfalls are one of the most beautiful spots in all of Tahiti. Located near the small village of Tiarei, these attractions are a short hike away.
The three main waterfalls, Vaimahutu, Haamarere Iti, and Haamarere Rahi, all sit close to one another, making the adventure easier. Just remember to pack bug repellant, as the humidity tends to bring mosquitos.
The waterfalls are free to visit (including parking), easy to access, and ideal for a picnic. This makes the Faarumai Waterfalls ideal for a family outing, especially if you have younger children.
Use A Sea Scooter
One of the most wonderful things anyone can do is swim with fish and other marine life. This, coupled with getting to explore coral reefs and small caves, can feel like traveling to a new world. Now, take that experience and add in a device that propels you around underwater with amazing power.

Hike Up Mount Aorai
If you’re in the mood for a challenge, consider a hike up Mount Aorai. Standing at nearly 7000 ft, this hike isn’t for the faint-hearted. That being said, we believe the reward is well worth the effort. The view you get from the top (as well as the views as you make the journey) is truly stunning.
We recommend organizing rest stops with a local guide ahead of time to ensure you have places to stay overnight if it gets too dark.
