Universal Orlando Resort announced plans to unveil a new
land next year based on characters from the beloved DreamWorks Animations’
franchises.
Coming to Universal Studios Florida in 2024, the new DreamWorks
land will transport visitors to the theme park to an area adorned with vibrant
colors, sights and sounds from some of the company’s most popular animated
films.
Guests at Universal Orlando will share special moments with
their favorite characters like Gabby from Gabby’s Dollhouse and explore themed,
interactive play spaces and attractions that bring popular franchises like
Shrek, Trolls and Kung Fu Panda to life.
The new DreamWorks land is part of a collection of new
entertainment experiences debuting at the Florida theme park in 2024. The
addition is also part of Universal’s commitment to storytelling that places
guests of all ages in the most incredible and immersive environments.
Last week, Universal Orlando announced new details for
Illumination’s Villain-Con Minion Blast blaster game attraction scheduled to
debut at the theme park this summer.
Located at the entrance to the new Minion Land, Illumination’s
Villain-Con Minion Blast blends immersive sets, interactive game-based
technology, custom animations and an original storyline to create a
one-of-a-kind blaster attraction where guests can put their villainous skills
to the ultimate test.
Travelers can also stop by the outdoor Illumination Theater
facade to meet, greet and interact with characters like the Minions, Gru,
Margo, Edith, and Agnes.
