The American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA) has revealed the planned dates for next year's ASTA Legislative Day in the nation's capital. The announcement comes on the heels of another productive and successful two-day trip to Washington, D.C., during which hundreds of members lobbied lawmakers on Capitol Hill, subsequently scoring huge wins for the industry.ASTA's 2024 Legislative Day is scheduled to take place Tuesday and Wednesday, September 17-18, 2024.In the wake of this past June's ASTA Legislative Day, the U.S. House passed a bill to reauthorize the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) with three of ASTA's policy priorities included.Travel advisors can visit ASTA.org and or subscribe to the organization's Travel Advisor Daily newsletter to stay in the know.
Advisors can also give to ASTA's political action committee (ASTAPAC) here.
