Labor Day is just around the corner. With it, a turn to the fall season approaches.

Whether you’re planning to wander around Europe in the “off-season” or check out the fall colors on a weekend getaway, the fall season is packed with great options for travelers.

Expect some crowds throughout the fall season though. Leaf peepers and pumpkin patch lovers know this all too well.

This year, Americans are prioritizing fall travel more than ever. I certainly won’t be upset when I run into crowds this fall. More people on the go is great for the travel industry’s recovery. The pandemic taught us that nothing in life is certain, so take more trips!

If you haven’t made plans yet, don’t hesitate any longer. Get those flights locked in or set your destination to a drivable location and get a room ASAP.

Typically a slower period in travel, the shoulder season isn’t expected to be much of a shoulder season this fall.

Deals can still be had though. Southwest just recently launched fall and winter flights with fares from $49. You have until Aug 24 to book though.

That’s the thing with finding discounts – the booking window is usually short so you have to act fast.

Of course, working with a travel advisor is the best way to save money on travel.

So, are you fall travel ready? What trips do you have set for this fall season?
