EF Go Ahead Tours is launching its first tour specifically focusing on Jordan, with departures beginning as soon as April, 2024.
With travelers wanting to explore deeper in lesser visited regions of the world, the Jordan History & Culture: Amman, Petra and the Dead Sea is a great opportunity to get an immersive insight into Jordan’s history, culture and natural wonders.
The small group tour takes travelers to several ancient wonders, including the UNESCO-listed Petra, as well as across natural wonders such as the desert of Wadi Rum and the Dead Sea. Additionally, travelers will learn from the locals through experiences like a soap making class at a women-supported cooperative or a calligraphy lesson.
Every itinerary with EF Go Ahead Tours includes all transfers and accommodations, as well as free time to explore in between group meals and guided tours.
“We are thrilled to launch our new Jordan tour to invite travelers to this beautiful country,” said Heidi Durflinger, President, EF Go Ahead Tours. “Our itinerary takes you through Amman, Petra and the Dead Sea, with unforgettable moments like stargazing in Wadi Rum and an Arabic calligraphy lesson. We’re appreciative of our relationship with the Jordan Tourism Board as we work closely with Jordanian locals, visiting women’s cooperatives and environmental nonprofits making a lasting, positive impact. The natural wonders of Jordan need to be experienced to be believed!”
The tour operator partnered with the Jordan Tourism Board to announce the itinerary.
“We are very excited to be working with EF Go Ahead Tours in launching their new itinerary to Jordan. The visit to the Iraq Al-Amir women’s cooperative is especially exciting as it is part of the Tourism Cares Meaningful Travel Map of Jordan, designed to help travelers meet, connect and interact with local communities,” said Malia Asfour, Managing Director, Jordan Tourism Board, North America.
“A cooperation like this that includes sustainable tourism programs that benefit local communities and travelers is an example of how tourism is a force for good and why we want to build these sustainable relationships in our industry,” continued Asfour. “We are grateful to EF Go Ahead Tours and look forward to hosting their travelers in our incredibly hospitable, beautiful Kingdom!”
