You may know it for its passionate football culture and excellent meat dishes, but there is so much more to Argentina than meets the eye.

With awe-inspiring landscapes such as glaciers and waterfalls, along with cultural cities filled with music, art, and colonial architecture, there is much to discover in this South American haven.

Perito Moreno Glacier

One of the most phenomenal sights in Argentina is the Perito Moreno Glacier. The glacier is impressive, to say the least! It’s the third biggest freshwater reserve globally, and the turquoise blue water is remarkable to see in person.

You can book a guided trek to walk on the glacier, as you are not allowed to do a self-guided trek due to safety reasons. If you would rather admire it from afar, we recommend a cruise along the water instead.

Península Valdés

If you want to see some of the most fascinating marine life that the ocean has to offer, spend time along the Península Valdés, a reserve along the Argentinian coast.

The wild beaches and natural landscapes are relatively untouched. And the Argentinian wildlife is undisturbed so you can see animals in their natural habitat.

In our opinion, the highlight of this area is whale watching. Watch these magnificent creatures breach the waters during the warmer months of the year.

Mendoza

If you are a wine lover, you will not want to miss Mendoza, the epicenter of wine production in South America.

The rolling vineyards, quaint eateries, and wine-tasting experiences make this a laid-back destination to add to your Argentinian itinerary. Add this to the end of your trip to kick back after days of adventuring and exploring, with a top-notch glass of Malbec.

Buenos Aires

We think the capital city of Argentina is the place to go if you want to experience the authentic Argentinian way of life. The busy streets, bustling restaurants, and troves of arts and culture offer endless sights and activities for you to experience.

The nightlife is also a big draw in Argentina, with a plethora of clubs, pubs, bars, and more on offer. For a unique night out, book to see a tango show.

Tierra Del Fuego National Park

With a vast array of attractions, the Tierra del Fuego National Park has almost every type of natural landscape you can think of. There are mountains, glaciers, bright blue lakes, forestry, the ocean, and more.

The two big draws are the Andes and the Patagonian Forest. You can spend days trekking through the park on foot, and discovering new and unique wonders around each corner.

Iguazu Falls

Waterfalls are always a big attraction, but the Iguazu Falls are a set of falls unlike any you’ve seen elsewhere.

These are 275 cascades that are not joined, but rather compose a ‘broken’ waterfall effect over a staggering width of 2,700 meters. It lies on the border of Argentina and Brazil, shared between both countries. You can view it on a boardwalk or (our personal preference) on a boat.

Córdoba

One of the most beautiful cities in Argentina, Cordoba is a cultural haven of art and history. Its architecture has an interesting blend of Roman and Islamic design, due to its history of rule. Old and new combine in certain areas, with an interesting contrast of modern and ancient buildings co-existing.

Admire the buildings and cathedrals, visit the fascinating museums, and see sights such as the Mosque-Cathedral of Córdoba, the Roman Bridge of Córdoba, and Torre De Calahorra.

Discover Argentina

With a perfect blend of seascapes, landscapes, art, heritage, food, vineyards, and more, Argentina offers even the most experienced traveler a multitude of new and unique experiences.
