Whether you want to explore glaciers, deserts, hot springs, or volcanoes, Chile is the diverse pot of natural wonders that you are seeking.

In addition to the incredible nature of the country, there are also vibrant cities with fantastic food, people, and culture to explore.

Admire The Art In Valparaiso

You can happily get lost wandering through the narrow streets of Valparaiso, the colorful port city on the west coast of Chile.

Valparaiso is known for its buildings, which are in every color you can think of. The bright architecture fits into the bohemian vibe of the city, which is home to phenomenal art (both on the street and in museums), delectable local cuisine, and a vibrant social scene.

Don’t miss the funicular for great views, Baburizza Palace Museum, and Pablo Neruda’s old home that is now a fascinating exhibition.

Moonwalk In Valle De La Luna

Valle de la Luna, meaning ‘Valley of the moon’, is named so because it feels like you are walking on the surface of the moon. It is a valley located in the Atacama Desert and is known for its sand and stone formations, salt flats, and caverns.

While it is an unforgettable sight at any time of the day, it’s worth sticking around for the magical sunset. The landscape becomes a palette of dusky reds, and more than ever, you feel like you are on another planet.

Experience Santiago

Like with most places, the best place to experience the authentic culture of a country is in the capital. Santiago is a melting pot of everything Chile has to offer, including food, art, nightlife, nature, and history.

Enjoy the art scene in Bellavista, take in the atmosphere at Plaza de Armas, and sample all Chilean delicacies at the Central Market. There is another former home of Pablo Neruda here, which is now open as La Chascona Museum House.

Discover Patagonia

The famous Patagonian region stretches across Argentina and Chile, with the Chilean side encompassing forestry, fjords, and glaciers, among other natural wonders.

You can visit the strikingly blue lake district, kayak between the fjords, ski down the icy slopes, and do wild hikes up peaks and volcanoes.

Our favorite part of Patagonia is the Base of the Towers in Torres Del Paine, which offers the most breathtaking views of the granite peaks and turquoise lake.

Watch The Sunrise On Easter Island

The volcanic island in Chilean territory, called Easter Island, has a fascinating history and untouched plains that make it worth a trip across the water.

The island is very remote with just about 5,000 residents, and you can enjoy the sights or partake in water activities. The most famous part of Easter Island is the moai. These are monolithic human statues that were created by the Rapa Nui people.

If you venture out here, you cannot miss gazing at the sunrise over the 15 moai statues in Ahu Tongariki. The pictures will be spectacular!

Climb Ojos Del Salado

The highest volcano in the world is in Chile, and also features the highest-altitude lake in the world. The Ojos del Salado is a top attraction in Chile, and particularly popular among avid hikers.

This is best suited to experienced hikers as the trek can be challenging, especially towards the top, due to the gravel and icy conditions. But once you conquer it, the views are unmatched!

Soak In The Hot Springs

You will find some of the most scenic hot springs imaginable in Chile. Take a warm dip in nature’s baths while looking out at a spectacular view.

The best hot spring that we think is a must-visit is the Termas Laguna Verde. Here you can soak in the waters while enjoying a phenomenal view of the Ojos del Salado.

Explore Chile

Why choose between extraordinary nature and energetic city life, when you can have both?

Chile has everything you could want in a holiday, which will have you skiing down powdery slopes, trekking up the largest volcano in the world, soaking in scenic hot springs, and kayaking between fjords - all in the same trip!
